• Both partners of the Claims Recovery Group (CRG) - Stanley Sanderson and Philip Covshoff - since 1997 have gained extensive post audit work experience in accounts receivable, along with a combined total of seventeen years on accounts payable post audits.

• Both partners in CRG have hired, trained and currently employ a number of audit associates that are deployed in various clients located throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
• These dedicated audit associates and CRG partners are knowledgeable, experienced and focused on the single task of researching claims line-by-line and recovering money already written off to trade spending or uncollectibles.
• It is CRG's preference that all their post-audit recovery work be performed in the client's business office. No documents are removed from the client's premises, in order to maintain strict control over the sensitivity of the client's issues of privacy, confidentiality and proprietary information.

• The cost of this post-audit service is based on the actual recovery of dollars - at that time a negotiated rate of 20-25% is applied to the recovery of actual dollars, cancellations or any "contra" dollars received for free advertisement and/or promotions. If no dollars are recovered, then the post-audit service is free. The client received a "full 75-80%" of recoveries without any attached labour costs.
• All direct labour costs related to our audit service will be paid by CRG. These costs savings can have two effects:

  1. If CRG does the first pass through these post audits, then CRG will remove all the client's fixed labour costs (salary and benefits) that were directed at their own internal audit process. The client's costs are usually calculated at $40,000 per person. CRG's greatest success in the first pass has been recovering substantial dollars and "preventing" new claims from being deducted and minimizing any future deduction's on the client's accounts receivable.

  2. If CRG does a second pass, then CRG will cover its own labour costs. Given CRG's current audit experience, CRG will often recover more than sixty per cent of the dollars that were left unrecovered by the internal staff on the first pass.

• These post audit claims from third-party auditors can represent less than one percent of the client's total trade spending dollars but when deducted, they are "whole" dollars off the income / profit line for the manufacturers.
• Our current audit experience shows that CRG can clean up the client's unresolved post audit claims and/or cleared deductions in four to six months and have a recovery rate of better than 60 per cent on the dollars outstanding. It is money that goes straight to the client's bottom line.
